are thermoplastic resin and thermosetting resin?
In
general, plastic is divided into thermoplastic resin and thermosetting resin. “Resin”
means plastic. They have the following features.
・Thermoplastic resin: resin that softens when heated
・Thermosetting resin: resin that hardens when heated
To put it
simply, thermoplastic resin is a plastic that is like chocolate, which melts (dissolves)
when heated again and again and hardens (solidifies) when cooled.
On the
contrary, thermosetting resin is a plastic that is like biscuits, which, once
solidified by being heated, do not melt even when heated again.
